Why we started Vedika
Somewhere between mass-produced "ghee" on supermarket shelves and the pure, golden ghee our families once made at home, something was lost. Most ghee today is made from cream in factories, in minutes — a world away from the slow, cultured bilona method that gives real ghee its aroma, its grain, and its goodness.
Vedika was born to bring that back — pure A2 Gir cow bilona ghee and authentic Rajasthani lal mirch chatni, made honestly, in small batches, from our own free-grazing desi cows. No shortcuts. No adulteration. Just the real thing.
The bilona way
We collect milk from indigenous A2 Gir cows, culture it into curd, and hand-churn it the traditional bilona way to draw out fresh white butter — which is then slow-simmered into golden, grainy (danedar) ghee. It takes roughly 25–30 litres of milk to make a single litre of ghee. That's why real bilona ghee is rare, and worth it.
Purity you can verify
We don't just say "pure" — we prove it. Every batch is lab-tested, and you can scan the QR code on your jar to see the report for the exact batch in your hands. Full traceability, from our farm to your spoon. That's our promise.
